Bashirah Mack is a multimedia journalist, investigative reporter, researcher, fact-checker, and field producer. As a reporter and producer, she has worked in digital, radio and film, and her work has appeared in WBEZ – Chicago Public Media, City Bureau, WYPR – Baltimore Public Radio, the Chicago Defender, South Side Weekly, and Sapelo Square. Bashirah has received nominations for her collaboration on investigative stories from the Chicago Headline Club. She has also been awarded the American Association of University Women's Career Development Grant and is currently a Master of Journalism student at the University of California, Berkeley. Bashirah received a bachelor's degree in political science from Loyola University Chicago. She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
